Firstly, thanks for any help in advance..
I have a client that wants to guarantee and certify that certain reports are delivered/printed from one domain (domain A) over to a much more locked-down domain (domain B) every day. The idea is to reduce the human element but it doesn't have to be non-existent. The essential piece of the puzzle is that we have to know what's supposed to have been printed and that it either has or hasn't actually printed.
The whole place is Windows OS.
Currently, the people in one domain/dept (domain A) print reports, physically grab the printout, and walk over and leave it in an in-tray for the secure dept (domain B). Then they go back and sign a form saying they've done it. This worked, until someone misplaced a form, but still signed that it was delivered, and the client realised that "just signing for...
