I got this error the other day trying to install a networked Sharp MX-4101N printer. On a Win 7 x64 bit Enterprise laptop. I have this print driver MX2300_Win64_PCL6PS_En_1303aW.exe I shift right clicked and ran as admin entered my creds and began to install. Selected standard and the printer could not be seen on the networki entered the IP for it and it popped up. Next and driver selected was PCL 6 as always. Then the last step is to click next to install the printer.
For a second it acts like its going to install and pops the same exact window up to click next on. So i clicked next and it just turned into an endless cycle. After getting fed up with it i logged into the Admin account and tried to install this printer and same thing happens. Checked my event viewer and get the below error.
