I recently installed a new PC for our chief accountant...he went from 32 Bit XP to 64 Bit Windows 7. He forgot to tell me that our CEO, from time to time, will send print requests to his locally and shared HP laser printer.
The CEO is still on XP 32 bit. When I tried to map to the shared printer, it said it needs a driver. I downloaded the correct driver in XP and it still says wrong driver.
I went back to the host machine and there was an option to install additional drivers for different versions for Windows...I downloaded both Windows 7 32 bit and XP 32 bit drivers and it wouldn't work.
Any suggestions on how to make this work?
Thanks!
Brian
