I have spent over 2 hours googling to find out how to fix my Canon IP 4300 Printer. It came up with a message - something about print head not being installed! I followed some instructions to soak the print head in hot water and rinse the print head every 5 minutes and then left the print head soaking in hot water overnight. then I left to dry for a day.
I managed to print for the next couple of days without any issues and suddenly today its come up with this message:
Printing cannot be executed because the inner cover is open. It would appear that either the sensor is dirty or damaged, but I have opened the printer and put it back together again, but I cannot work out where this sensor is. even the online manual is useless.
Anyone no how to fix this. I could buy a new inkjet printer but I have found over the last few years that the older...
